A History of Dreads in Transylvania
From July 17th 2020
Bran Castle offers a foray into the history of local myths and dreads, of symbols and their meanings.
On the 4th floor of the Castle we are greeted, in four successive rooms, by “a story of the dreads”, born from the representations of certain supernatural characters: the Sântoaderi, the Iele, the Grim Reaper, the Ghosts, the Strigoi, the Solomonari, the Werewolves. We are thus entering the dread kingdom of Romanian mythology.
