The Magnifcats Feline Club Association, a member of the World Cat Federation (WCF), in partnership with Bran Castle, is organizing a world cat exhibition on the weekend of June 29-30, 2024.
The exhibition will be held in the Royal Park of Bran Castle, in an exhibition tent, and the entrance is free. Refereeing will take place between 10am and 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. It will be ensured by a team of international referees, made up of Phillipa Holmes (Great Britain), Svetlana Lalovic (Serbia), Cornelia Hungerecker (Germany), Jane Allen (Great Britain), Kurt Vlach (Austria) and Anca Neculoiu (Romania). .
220 cats from the following breeds are entered in the competition: British Shorthair and Longhair, Persian and Exotic, Scottish Fold and Scottish Straight, Highland Straight and Highland Fold, Maine Coon, Munchkin, Maine Coon and Maine Coon Polydactyl, Ragdoll, Sacra de Burmania, Neva Masquerada, Bengalese, Cornish Rex, Lykoi, Russian Blue, Savannah, Thai, Sphynx and the new cat breed from Romania, Transylvanian.
Participation is international, with exhibitors coming from Romania plus Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine, Italy, Greece, Austria, China and the Philippines.
On both days, the cats will participate both in the traditional table judging whose final (Best in Show) will be daily around 5 p.m., as well as in the WCF rings where the cats are grouped into: adults, sterilized, puppies and juniors, pre -recognized.
On Sunday afternoon, as part of the world exhibition, the big rings will be held: Master, Double Master and Triple Master, which are competitions with pre-qualification that create the possibility of obtaining higher titles.
