Detailed Responsibilities
• Serve customers with products available at the Garden Bar, including coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, lemonade, pies, and pastries, and/or assist with service at Casa de Ceai Restaurant, Bran Castle, as required.
• Prepare simple beverages, such as coffee and lemonade, in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area and at the sales counter.
• Arrange products for sale and ensure they are attractively and appropriately displayed.
• Monitor product stock levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is required.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and verify the quantity and quality of the products received.
• Process customer payments and operate the cash register accurately.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and complete end-of-shift cash reconciliation in accordance with established procedures.
• Comply with food hygiene and food safety regulations, as well as the restaurant’s internal policies and procedures.
• Provide customers with relevant information and maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude always.

2. Job Purpose
To provide fast, efficient, and high-quality service at the Garden Bar, located in the terrace area of Casa de Ceai Restaurant. The role contributes to a positive visitor experience through friendly customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance with food hygiene and service standards.

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Head Waiter
• Work is carried out at the Garden Bar, located in the terrace area of Casa de Ceai Restaurant, and/or at Casa de Ceai Restaurant, Bran Castle, as required.
• Seasonal work schedule aligned with Bran Castle’s operating hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Outdoor working environment, with high visitor volumes during the tourist season.
Requirements
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as retail sales, a café, a bar, or a pastry shop, is considered an advantage.
Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and food safety.
• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
Language Skills
• Conversational and/or professional proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with international visitors.
• Knowledge of any additional foreign language is considered an advantage and an asset to the Garden Bar operations.
